THE GROOM ROOM STORY

The Groom Room Men’s Spa Lounge is the first Minority/ Black owned Day Spa dedicated solely to Men’s health and wellness in the great City of Rochester,NY.Owned and operated by Monique Chatman, a native of the city who is a dual-licensed professional in Aesthetics and Nail Care Specialty, with several years of experience in the skin care industry. Her All natural Beard and Body products line was created in the midst of her depression after loosing her mother to bladder cancer. She named the line in remembrance and honor of her mothers child hood nick name.

After launching her line ,Monique embarked on an educational journey to find out more about skin care to advance her knowledge and better her product line, which lead her to Continental School Of Beauty. Once she gained her Esthetician’s license she found that her passion was Men’s skin care, and birthed the Groom Room Men’s Spa And Lounge.
